Kate C. MacNamara
Principle Investigator
Kate completed her B.Sc. in 2000 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, spending summers studying plant pathology at the NY State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY. She earned her Ph.D. studying coronaviruses in the lab of Dr. Susan Weiss at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing postdoctoral studies with Dr. Gary Winslow at the Wadsworth Center and the Trudeau Institute she established her laboratory at Albany Medical College in 2011.
